When you are discharged from the hospital following surgery, illness or an accident, you may need additional nursing care to recover fully. Or perhaps you have already returned home and realize you need therapy services in a structured environment to regain your strength and independence.
Whether as a result of a trauma, surgery, stroke, disease, or chronic condition, when mobility, function or cognitive abilities are impaired, rehabilitation is often the pathway to recovery, renewed independence, and quality of life. Depending on your situation, your rehabilitation stay can range from a few days to a few months post-hospitalization.

Individualized Attention

At the King’s Daughters and Sons Home, we have a team of experienced master clinicians and certified professionals licensed and certified in physical, occupational, and speech and language therapy. We’re here to help restore your health, and have the capability of providing physical, occupational and speech therapies as often as your physician recommends it.

We will customize a plan of care for you using various rehabilitation programs, based on your individual needs. Your plan will address medical, physical, social and/or psychological issues that may need attention as part of your recovery.

By continuously measuring and tracking your progress and outcomes, we can adjust and adapt the therapies we utilize, so that you can maximize your abilities.

Our advanced therapeutic modalities address a wide range of orthopedic, neurological and other disabilities, diseases and conditions.

We measure your progress and adjust your therapy on an ongoing basis so that you can continue to improve. Our goal is to improve your quality of life, by helping you achieve your highest functional potential and safely return home or to the next stage of your care.

Education

A central component of your rehabilitation is education. At the King’s Daughters and Sons Home, we believe it is crucial for you to understand your condition and how to manage your care after you leave us.
Our therapists and other staff members will communicate with you about your condition throughout your stay and are available to answer any questions you may have.
